What auto/oppo related things did you do this weekend? Take a drive? Shine your car? Change the blinker fluid? Show us pics/video!
Down here in Austin we had a bit of rain and sun, and the local BMW clubs took over the Circuit of the Americas for some driving, training, and racing with folks coming in from as far away as Cali and Florida...I almost felt guilty taking my 30 minute drive down to the track.
I'm still fairly new to this, but here's a lap of wet and dry in my 2011 M3 (stock, with a rather newbie driver, me)
First, the wet...this track is great fun in the rain, with amazing grip!
Next, one of my later dry laps. It was a new personal best, but I was pushing harder than normal which led to a few mistakes:
And some other fun car sightings from the weekend:
This is the underside of a Cadillac ATS-V that was evidently for an upcoming Cadillac event at the track
Next, a new C7 Z06 with wicked aero...
...and one of my favorite track-going vehicles of the weekend, this lovely CTS-V that checked all the right boxes. 500+ HP, longroof, stick, lovely color. Hmmm, lots of GM love here...I guess they stood out among the sea of BMWs!
(and that 2002 lined up next to it on the grid was very nice)
Finally, a few more from the weekend:
SOOOO, what did your weekend look like?

Brake shoe adjustment I never finished because it was so windy.
And yes, that's a jack stand under there. :)

Snow, wet snow, and then a flash freeze. I did get drunk and play eurotruck simulator two multiplayer. It was quite fun. Hard to drive a virtual 18 wheeler while drinking and texting.
On sunday I went to the gym but randomly stopped at the airport. I moved to a new part of town and have to go through a really confusing intersection to get home from the airport, and I am picking up the woman next week, so I wanted to practice to make sure I knew which multiple exit exit to take.

COTA looks like a ton of fun! Over the weekend, I went car shopping and found this! If the owner and I can make a deal, she should be home very soon.

I reassembled a limited slip differential (Jag 2.88 Power Lock). Not 100% done yet. I also moved a pile of 60s Land Rover body parts.

Removed a broken alarm system, fixed my dome light, fixed some ground loops, broke my running lights, carpeted my trunk, rewired my amp and subs (again), fixed my handbrake, installed a garage door opener, and replaced my heater control backlight.
And that's just what I did to *my* car :P

Cool, you were busy! Thanks for the info on your experiences. I need to look at the best ways to replace a model ID from my manufacturer which is fading now...probably will try your method as it's just stuck on as well.

If the badges are "3D" you can heat the glue up then use a piece of nylon fishing line to get between the badge and glue.
